  • HIGHLIGHTS McPherson police An officer responded at 1:55 a.m. Monday to a report of a subject jumping out in front of a vehicle in the 700 block of West Kansas Avenue, vandalizing it and then trying to enter the vehicle. The officer was unable to locate anyone in the area and the reporting party did not wish to file a report. Sheriff A deputy made contact at 12:07 a.m. Sunday with a vehicle at 27th Avenue and Moccasin Road and arrested Brenda Hall, 32, Moundridge, on a first offense DUI. She was released from the McPherson County Jail after posting a $1,000 bond. Area CANTON — Firefighters responded at 2:25 p.m. Monday to hay bales on fire in the area of 29th Avenue and Navajo Road.
