  • We are so incredibly thankful for our country and for the freedom we have to elect those who will be in leadership and authority over us. We take the privilege of voting very seriously. On our local level in the race for county attorney, we have been very happy and confident in our decision to support David Page to serve our county in that capacity. We highly value and appreciate his personal and professional integrity, his range of life experiences and maturity, and his strong work ethic. His open door approachability is very encouraging and reveals the value he places on all citizens. To us, these character qualities and his mode of operation ensures he could not and would not cater to or be beholdin' to any specific group of people. That sounds wise. Plus, he has actively and diligently pursued this position for himself. May we make a note of clarification from a quote we read in an article concerning this race? The general public is, indeed happy, with his service and the job he is doing. David Page won the election because of the vote of the people, the general public. We’re not putting anyone on a pedestal, for no elected official, or any of us, for that matter, belong there, but from our perspective, we are in full support of his candidacy, and we ask you to seriously consider supporting him as your county attorney when you vote on Nov. 6. Thank you. — Dana and Susanne Sammer, McPherson
