A McPherson man was bound over for trial in Saline County District Court Tuesday on two felony charges stemming from an April accident that killed a Saline County man.
Assistant Saline County Attorney Charles Duell said Shawn Farley, 29, will be arraigned Oct. 29 on charges of involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence and aggravated child endangerment.
Farley was driving a minivan westbound on U.S. Highway 81 Business Route about 12 miles south of Salina when he allegedly crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle driven by Bradley R. Gearheart, 45, Assaria.
Gearheart was pronounced dead at the scene, while Farley was transported to Salina Regional Health Center.
A 7-year-old girl who was a passenger in the minivan was uninjured.
