  • HIGHLIGHTS McPherson police Officers responded at 12:55 p.m. Monday to the 700 block of Kerschner Driver in reference to a possible intoxicated driver who had struck a yield sign at First Street and North Centennial Drive. They arrested Kelly Wingrove, 50, McPherson, on charges of a second-offense DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. Upon investigation, the officers found Wingrove also had allegedly struck a vehicle belonging to a 71-year-old McPherson man in the 700 block of Kerschner Drive. She was released from the McPherson County Jail after posting $1,546 bond. Sheriff Deputies, Canton EMS personnel and firefighters responded at 8:22 a.m. Sunday to a state-reportable, injury accident involving a vehicle driven by Cortney Randolph, McPherson, that occurred a half-mile south of Frontier Road on 27th Avenue.
