Turnovers doomed Bethany College, as the Swedes came up short against Sterling College Saturday 17-10.
The Swedes coughed up the ball twice, turning it over once, and quarterback Darby House threw three interceptions, as Bethany falls to 1-7 in the KCAC (2-8 overall).
House was 29-of-56 for 240 yards and a touchdown, which came with 6:10 left in the ball game on a 13 yard toss to James Johnson.
Tevis Linnebur led the Swede rushing attack with 66 yards on 17 carries. Johnson caught 10 passes for 119 yards receiving for Bethany.
The Swedes end their season at home against Southwestern. Senior Day at Anderson Stadium kicks off at 1:30 p.m.
