Central Christian College raced out to a 52-40 halftime lead against Dallas Christian College Saturday, on its way to a 95-84 victory.
Aaron Cannon led the Tigers in scoring with 18 points and grabbed a team high 12 rebounds for the double-double. Jeff Jackson and Chris Jones each added 17 points, while Kaelon Gary scored 16.
The Tigers shot 62.1 percent from the foul line Saturday and were 50 percent from the field.
Dallas Christian took better advantage of turnovers, outscoring the Tigers 15-12. Central was helped out by 27 points off the bench.
The win moves Central Christian to 3-0 on the season as the Tigers get ready to host Manhattan Christian College tonight. The women’s game tips off at 5:30 p.m., while the men tip at 7:30 p.m.
