  • Mid Kansas Coop’s Agriculture Symposium will be Nov. 27 at the Meridian Conference Center, 1420 E. Broadway Ct., Newton. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with rolls and coffee. The welcome will be at 9 a.m.
    Three guest speakers will be featured. Jim Wiesemeyer, vice president of farm and trade policy at Informa Economics, will speak on “Washington, D.C. — Helping or hindering growth?” David Rhylander, U.S. trait marketing lead at Monsanto, will speak on “Growth and production through integrated farming systems.” David Parker, vice president of instructional services and partner at Adayana, will speak on “Growth trends in agriculture.”
