  • “Leave No Threshing Stone Unturned” Glen Ediger, author of “Leave No Threshing Stone Unturned,” will sign books from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Bookshelf. Ediger describes his book as “a fascinating history book, exploring the rare farming artifact used by Kansas farmers for threshing wheat in the 1870’s. The book has 192 pages and more than 500 photos, with 17 articles including, Cereal Grains, Turkey Red Wheat, Kansas History, Railroad History, Mennonite History, Farming with Horses, Threshing History, Art and Object, Symbolism, and discovering 100 threshing stones in North America. Glen Ediger is the director of Design-Vornado Air LLC. He is an inventor with more than 100 U.S. patents and more than 100 international patents. He was a Bethel College 2012 Outstanding Alumnus recipient. Kansas Train Tales Robert Collins, author of “Kansas Train Tales” will sign copies of his book from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Bookshelf. In addition to books, he has sold stories to periodicals, such as Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine; Tales of the Talisman; Space Westerns; Golden Visions; and Sorcerous Signals. He has had more than 90 short story sales as of June 2011. He’s sold articles to publications, such as Wild West; Territorial Magazine; Working Writer; and Model Railroader.
