Megan Stagner of Little River was inducted in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Nov. 5. Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society for two-year colleges and is the largest in America. Invitation to the society is extended only to students who have completed at least 12 hours of transferable credits leading to an associate degree while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5. Character, leadership and service are also considered. Stager was also awarded All Academic Team in basketball by the KJCCC for spring 2012 on July 2, 2012. She is a sophomore at Cloud County Community College in Concordia. She is the daughter of Jerry and Cheryl Stagner of Little River and the granddaughter of Fred and Karen Spoon of McPherson.
