Elyria junior cagers split

The Elyria Christian Junior High basketball teams split a pair of road games with Canton-Galva Middle School Monday.
The boys downed the Eagles 36-27 behind Jaden Starburg’s 12 points, while Will Unruh added nine to the winning effort.
The boys move to 4-2 on the year.
The girls dropped their game to Canton-Galva, falling to 1-5 on the season. No score was available.
