  • The Inman girls found themselves down by 11 at half Tuesday night against Solomon, but the Teutons hung on to pull out the 38-25 comeback win.
“Being down five to 16 isn’t ever a good thing,” Inman coach Jeff Friesen said, “but to the girls’ credit, they kept battling all night.”
The Teutons utilized a 13-5 third quarter to claw their way back into the game, then ripped off a 20-4 fourth quarter that gave them the 13-point win and move them to 2-3 on the season.
Kaitlynn Goalden led all scorers with 22 points. The only other player in double digits was Solomon’s Jamie Meagher with 10.
Inman plays Central Christian on Friday.

The Redskins led 30-8 at the break. They poured it on in the third even more, going on a 21-4 run throughout the eight minutes.
Skylar Johnston added 10 for Little River, while Sarah Hagen was the closest Cougar to double digits with nine points.

LOST SPRINGS — The Elyria girls battled Centre for four quarters, coming up just short against the Cougars 51-47.
The Eagles trailed 8-6 after one period of play and only 20-18 at the break, but couldn’t quite get over the mountain to take the lead throughout a tightly played second half.
