The Elyria Christian School Junior High School basketball teams wrapped up 2012 with a road trip to Centre Junior High School, where the Eagles split with the Cougars.

The Elyria girls fell 30-7 in their contest. Their record drops to 1-6 on the year.

On the boys’ side, the Eagles were 23-20 winners over Centre, led by eighth grader William Unruh’s 10 points on the night. Elyria moves to 5-2 on the season.

The Eagles are off now until the new year, when they travel to Peabody-Burns on Jan. 3.
