29th annual Epiphany Festival

Highlights

1. The McPherson Community Brass Choir will begin prelude music at 6:30 p.m. Performing groups include the Trinity Lutheran Church's handbell choirs (Christ's Kids, Grace), vocal choirs (Cherub, Cantate, Trinity) and Trablas (woodwind trio).

2. Luminaries will guide guests to the church and a candlelight procession also will be presented during the service.

3. The program will conclude with the ringing of the closing bell, with refreshments following.

Why you should attend the event

The program, “Glory to God in the Highest” is the church's annual gift to the McPherson and surrounding communities and marks the end of the Christmas season, according to worship committee member Erma Mowbray. A free-will offering will go toward ELCA Disaster Response for Hurricane Sandy.
