Pine Village will host a Dementia Educational Series beginning Feb. 12. It is estimated 52,000 Kansans are suffering from dementia.
This is a great opportunity for the thousands of caregivers and/or family members directly or indirectly affected to learn more about the disease.
This six-session series will focus on how dementia works, its stages, and resources available for caregivers and family members. Series dates include: Feb. 12, March 12, April 9, July 9, Aug. 13 and Sept. 10. All meetings will be from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Pine Village Wellness Center. The series is free to attend, but space is limited. To sign up, call 620-345-2901, or for more information visit www.pinevillageks.org.
