Obituary: Lynn Melvin Nelson

Lynn Melvin Nelson, 64, passed away on Jan. 3, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the controller at Fidelity Bank, and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Diane S. Nelson; son, Brandon (Staci) Nelson; daughters, Kirsten (Chris) Pruitt, Kendra (Jess) Herbig all of Wichita; brothers, Lowell (Sue) Nelson of McPherson, Landvis Nelson of Lindsborg, LaRue (Leta) Nelson of McPherson; grandchildren, Parker, McKinley, Mallory, Brittyn, Briley, Alyvia and one on the way.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Ascension Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ascension Lutheran Pre-School. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenmortuary-cemetery.com.
