  • Teutons outpace Trinity 55-40

  • HUTCHINSON — The Inman Teuton boys held Hutchinson Trinity to only five points in the first quarters, setting the pace for the rest of the game on their way to a 55-40 win. The Teutons led 28-17 at the half and 41-29 after three quarters.
    Josh Miller led all scorers with 17 in the contest, while Justin Friesen had 15 and Alex Ropp had 10 for Inman.
    Next up for the Teutons is a home game against Berean Academy Friday evening.
    Haven 67
    Smoky Valley 37
    LINDSBORG — Haven jumped out to a quick lead in the first quarter and never looked back, defeating Smoky Valley 67-37 Tuesday night.
    Haven led 22-12 after the first quarter and held the Vikings to only seven second quarter points, pouring on 17 themselves to take a 39-19 lead into the locker room at the half.
    Holden Hendricks and Briton Hawk each had 10 points for Smoky Valley in the loss.
    The Vikings are on the road Friday as they take on Pratt.
    Moundridge 60
    Remington 46
    REMINGTON — Daniel Ratzlaff scored 20 and Ryan Lorimor added 17 as Moundridge rolled to a 60-46 Heart of America league win Tuesday night.
    Remington led through the first quarter, but the prolific duo of Lorimor and Ratzlaff keyed the comeback in the second quarter, as the Wildcats took a 23-20 advantage into the locker room.
    A 17 point third quarter and a 20 point final quarter sealed the win for Moundridge.
    The Wildcats travel to Solomon on Friday night.
    Hope 36
    Elyria 31
    HOPE — The Eagles kept pace with Hope, but just couldn’t get enough production across the board to pull out a win, falling 36-31 to the Lions.
    Dawson Knackstedt scored 10 points for Elyria, while Daniel Froese added nine in the loss.
    The Eagles are at home on Friday, hosting Goessel.
