  • Movie to focus on first-generation college students

  • The Brain Food Film Series will present “First Generation” at 7 p.m. today at the McPherson Opera House, 219 S. Main St. The movie is a feature documentary that chronicles the lives of four high-achieving, low-income high school students as they strive to be first in their families to go to college.
