  • The Central Christian women had a rough time of it against the College of the Ozarks Friday night to open up MCAC play, falling 89-37.

    The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a 39-17 lead after the first half, thanks to 16-of-33 shooting.

    The Tigers managed only seven field goals on 31 tries.

    The second half was just as rough, with the Tigers shooting only 8-of-34, while the College of the Ozarks was 17-of-34 in the half.

    Brooke Rhodes led the Tigers with a double double, scoring 15 points and picking up 12 rebounds. Krystina Powell added seven for Central Christian.

    The Tigers continue their road trip this afternoon, with a 3 p.m. matinee against Haskell.
