MMS cagers sweep Salina South

The McPherson Middle School basketball teams swept Salina South Middle School Thursday.

In the boys’ A Team game, the Bullpups dominated Salina South 51-35. Brock Malm had a monster game for MMS, scoring 26 points in the win. Chris Kirchner added nine points and Caleb Spaich had eight in the win.

The B Team won 39-32, moving to 9-1 on the year. Andric McGill had 13 points, while Sam Wingert added 11 in the win.

In the girls’ games, the A Team was a 37-17 victor. Emmy Yowell led the way with 12 points, while Kamyrn Collins added 11 in the win.

The B Team had a dominating 30-5 win Thursday.

Jordan Bruner had nine points to lead MMS.
