LOST SPRINGS — A day after taking No. 1 seed Centre to the limit in the Cougar Classic, the Elyria Christian School girls finished third with a 35-23 win.
The Eagles never trailed, leading 19-10 at the half.
Rachel Adamyk led all scorers with 13 points, while Katelyn Reimer and Cori Mines each had six.
Reimer was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts in the Cougar Classic.

LOST SPRINGS — Elyria fought hard for three quarters, but just ran out of steam in the seventh place game of Saturday's Cougar Classic, falling to Wakefield 50-32.
Dawson and Baxter Knackstedt both had nine points in the loss.

HALSTEAD — A 22-9 third quarter doomed the Moundridge boys' hopes of the Adolph Rupp Invitational championship, as the Wildcats fell to Andale 64-46.
Moundridge only trailed 25-20 after the first half, but couldn't cope with the offensive explosion from the Indians.
The normally high-scoring Daniel Ratzlaff was held to only nine points in the loss. Ryan Lorimore had 12 points.
