Engagement: Phelps — Goering

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Phelps of Abilene wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah, to David Goering of Hillsboro. He is a son of Charles and Annorah Goering of Marion.

Hannah is a 2002 high school graduate of Bethel Christian School and presently is self-employed making, designing and selling jewelry — 12 Precious Stones.

David is a high school graduate of Berean Academy in Elbing, attended Grace College of the Bible in Omaha, Neb., and also took a two-year course through Liberty Home Bible Institute. He is presently self-employed, owner of Goering Trucking and  also is a chaplain for Truckers Christian Chapel at Newels Truck Stop in Newton. He is the grandson of the late Jacob and Anna Goering and the late Karl and Anna Busenitz.

A March 9, 2013, wedding is planned in Abilene.
