SV Wrestling Club has strong showing in Manhattan

Annika Cantrell and Corbin Powell both placed fourth in the 6-and-under age bracket. Cantrell finished fourth at 58 pounds, while Powell placed at 70 pounds.
Holden Alsbury, Dawson Hogan, Tytus Reed and Brent Cantrell all placed in the 8-and-under category. Alsbury finished second at 55 pounds, Hogan third at 58, Reed fourth at 61 and Cantrell fifth.
At 10-and-under, Braunson Golden, Tanner Luttig and Dax Hopp all placed. Golden finished fourth at 70 pounds, Luttig finished fourth and Hopp took second at 120 pounds.
Four wrestlers placed in the 12-and-under age category. Denton Jacobson finished third at 84 pounds, Cort Elliott was first at 96 pounds and Chase Pywell also finished first at 100 pounds.
Jon Burks took second at 140 pounds.
A trio of wrestlers placed for the Smoky Valley Wrestling Club at 14-and-under.
Nick Karber was fourth at 95 pounds, Austin Lustfield finished first at 95 pounds and Noah Lackey took second place at 130 pounds.
Next action for the Smoky Valley Wrestling Club will be this weekend in Salina, as they will participate in the Salina Tournament of Champions.
The tournament will be at the Salina Bicentennial Center.
