  • The McPherson Middle School eighth grade boys’ basketball A Team won both games at this weekend’s Hays Jamboree.
    The Pups beat Great Bend 39-31 thanks to Brock Malm’s 18 points. Caleb Spaich added 13.
    McPherson then beat host Hays 37-33. Malm once again led the way with 12 points.
    The A Team is now 8-4.
