The Inman girls’ basketball team came up short in a bid for the championship of the Sedgwick Invitational Saturday, falling to Hutchinson Trinity 39-34.
“I’m extremely proud of the girls,” Teuton coach Jeff Friesen said. “It had been a while since we had won a game, but they’ve continued to practice well, play hard and believe.”
Naomi Williams had 14 points for Inman in the loss, while Kaitlynn Goalden added 12 points. Both were named to the Sedgwick Invitational All-Tournament team.
