The Moundridge boys trailed Berean Academy for three quarters, but held the Warriors to only six fourth quarter points on their way to a 44-38 comeback victory Tuesday night.
The Wildcats trailed 6-5 after the first quarter and 19-14 at the intermission. The lead had been cut to 32-29 after three quarters when Moundridge’s defense clamped down on Berean’s Loren Pearce, who led all scorers with 18.
Daniel Ratzlaff led Moundridge with 15 points, while Colton Frazer had 10 in the win.
INMAN — Josh Miller had 16 points to lead Inman in a 59-32 drubbing of Ell-Saline Tuesday night.
The Teutons had a 15-5 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, putting double digits up on the Cardinals in every quarter, while only letting Ell-Saline hit double figures in a 13 point second quarter. Inman led 30-18 at the half,
Cody Seiler had 11 to round out the double-digit scoring for Inman.
Elyria Christian 28
ELYRIA — The Eagles trailed 27-4 at the half of Tuesday’s game with Peabody-Burns, eventually falling 56-28.
Elyria managed to make the buckets come in the third quarter, outscoring the Warriors 15-13 in the frame.
Daniel Froese and Matthew Gemmer both had six for Elyria in the loss.
Little River 51
LITTLE RIVER — Little River hung 24 points on Goessel in the fourth quarter in a 51-33 win Tuesday night.
The Redskins had trailed at half, but managed the second half comeback thanks to Tevin Renkin’s 19 points.
