A dinner fundraiser will be conducted at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at First Christian Church, 101 S. Walnut St. in McPherson for 7-year-old Kaiden Schroeder.
He is the son of Chris and Jennifer Schroeder and grandson of Rod and Gloria Schroeder. He has been battling Leukemia since he was 4. He is going to have a bone marrow transplant in late February, but the road ahead is still a long one. All money raised will be donated to the Schroeder family to help with medical expenses.
The meal will be a restaurant-style Italian dinner. Cost is $10 per plate.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase your tickets, call 620-241-2200 or stop by the front desk at Farmers Alliance, 1122 N. Main St. in McPherson.
Carry out is available for $10 per plate from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and vegetarian options are available.
Organizers encourage parents to use child-care services for children younger than 10, available for $5 per child (picnic dinner included). Children 10 and older are welcome at the main dining sessions.
