The McPherson High bowling teams were swept at home by Mulvane Monday afternoon in AVCTL action.
The boys fell by a combined score of 2,478-2,448.
The Bullpups were led by Joel Morey with a series of 618 off games of 219, 194 and 205. The next closest was Austin Mitchell, who bowled a series of 587 off games of 248, 170 and 169.
Tyler Morse had a 572 with games of 188, 211 and 173.
Leading the way for the Mustangs was Alex Temple’s 691 series. He had games of 204, 201 and 286.
Doug Chance had a 645 in the win off games of 201, 218 and 226.
On the girls’ side, McPherson lost 2,252-2,216.
Crystal Nutter’s 570 series led MHS. She bowled games of 194, 227 and 149.
Jasmine Wann had a 565 series off games of 156, 225 and 184. Mayce Nightengale bowled a 563 series off games of 150, 234 and 179.
For Mulvane, Missy Rayl had a 598 series with games of 197, 224 and 177. Larissa Ester had a 589 off games of 180, 236 and 173.
The McPherson High boys junior varsity picked up a 1,830-1,604 win over the Mustangs.
Justin Walker had a 555 series to lead the Bullpups with games of 144, 145 and 266. Andrew Almquist bowled a 472, with games of 116, 204 and 152.
The girls junior varsity fell to Mulvane 1,756 to 633. Echo Miller had a 340 series with games of 101, 137 and 102.
The Bullpups have a week off now before the final match of the regular season.
MHS will host Buhler and Hutchinson in a triangular Monday at Starlight Lanes. The AVCTL meet is Feb. 14-15.
