SAR to meet in McPherson

The Sons of the Plains Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet in McPherson at  9 a.m.

Saturday at the McPherson Public Library. The Sons of the American Revolution is a male lineage society in which each member can trace his family tree back to an ancestor who supported the cause of American independence during the years 1774-1783.

Men working on their family trees in this time period or men who are interested in joining are welcome to attend. The group has genealogists who will help with documentation.
