At 1 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to a report of theft and criminal damage to property in the 2200 block of East Kansas Ave. Found was a motel room that suffered from water damage, as the shower was left running, and flooded the room. Estimated damages are placed at $1,500. Stolen was a LG flatscreen TV valued at $3,500.

At 2 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of South Hartup. Stolen was an anvil from the back of a truck, valued at $1,000.

At 9:05 p.m. Monday, officer arrested Justin Ray Bowley, 27, on an outside agency warrant for failure to comply. No bond was posted. Officers also arrested Adam David Winsky, 32, of McPherson on two outside agency warrants for failure to comply. Winsky was released after posting a $3,500 bond.
At 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, an officer responded to a report of burglary and theft in the 1600 block of East Elizabeth. Stolen was a Wii gaming system, a Vivio 32 in. TV, miscellaneous currency and a hard drive. Total estimated losses are placed at $1,330.
At 7:25 p.m. Monday, a deputy arrested James Younger Proffitt, 23, on two charges of failure to appear. Proffitt was held pending a $1,300 bond.
MOUNDRIDGE —At 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a grass fire at 25th and Arrowhead. Found burned was five acres of pasture. Firefighters arrived on scene and extinquished the fire. There were no injuries.
