As part of the Heart 2 Heart campaign, Dillon stores across Kansas will be spreading a little cheer this Valentine’s Day by delivering single stem roses to area children’s organizations, hospices, family centers and community homes.
For every paper rose purchased at any Dillons, now through Tuesday, a single stem red rose will be delivered to various local organizations. All roses will stay in the communities where purchased, to share a friendly smile with those who may be overlooked during the holiday.
“Dillons is so excited to share a little cheer this Valentine’s Day with Heart 2 Heart,” said Sheila Lowrie, Dillon’s spokeswoman. “This is the second year for our Heart 2 Heart campaign in Kansas. We had such a heart-warming experience in delivering balloons last year and spreading smiles from our customers, we couldn’t wait to share a similar experience again this year with fresh roses. We would like to invite our Dillons customers to consider purchasing a rose to extend a kindhearted gesture to those who could really use one this Valentine’s Day.”
All roses will be delivered by Dillons in time for Valentine’s Day.
Thanks to the generosity of Dillons’ customers in 2012, more than 15,000 balloons were shared with organizations across Kansas to spread smiles and Valentine’s cheer.
