The McPherson County Historical Society met Feb. 2. David Nigh, president, welcomed 36 members and guests in attendance.
The "Story of an Apron" was given by Carolyn Stucky from Inman. She has a collection of about 200 aprons and gave an interesting presentation, sharing tidbits from the past decades as she showed a few from her collection. Each apron recalls a time and a place, a story and a face; it is because of these important ties and we should treasure our aprons, as "apron strings are ties to the past.”
