  • The McPherson County Master Gardeners and Friends Extension group will be hosing their second educational session at 7 p.m.  Feb. 21 at the 4-H Building in McPherson at 700 W. Woodside.
The topic for this session is "Vegetable Gardening," and Ward Upham will be the presenter. Ward is part of the K-State Research and Extension system where his primary duty is providing a rapid response to the horticulture questions he receives from Extension agents across the state. He is an invaluable asset to the Extension system and will provide a great program.
This session will not only provide research based information on vegetable gardening, but Ward also will spend much of his time taking questions from the audience. Whether you are new to vegetable gardening or an expert, Ward's presentation and question and answer session will be of benefit.
The cost of the program is $5 per person older than 18 years of age. Those 18 or younger can attend for free. Refreshments will be provided by Sheila's Garden Market located just outside of Galva.
