North Maple and Kansas Avenue will be temporarily closed for construction purposes.
Commissioners approved a project on Monday that would close North Maple on Monday, near the railroad tracks, and close one lane of Kansas Avenue next to Peoples Bank as of today.
Both roads will be closed for three to four days, weather permitting.
North Maple will be closed for the demolition of grain silos at Mid Kansas Cooperative Association’s facility at 321 N. Maple.
Kansas Avenue will have a closed lane to allow for a crane to setup roof work on Peoples Bank. The McPherson Street Department will assist with traffic control.
