  • Moundridge picks up sweep of Ellinwood to wrap season

  • Senior night at Moundridge High saw the Wildcats go out with a sweep of Ellinwood.
    The boys won 66-35, while the girls squeezed past the Eagles 44-42.

    The boys won 66-35, while the girls squeezed past the Eagles 44-42.
    Senior Daniel Ratzlaff put on a final, regular season show for the Wildcats, scoring 20 points. Colton Frazer added 19 in the win.
    In the girls game, Moundridge trailed 25-19 at the half and 40-30 after three quarters. Sophomore Michelle Schrag triggered the comeback in the fourth with a pair of threes, and MacKenzie Suderman added six of her own to propel the Wildcats to the win.
    Suderman finished with 19, while Schrag added 12 and Brooke Holloway had 10.
    Inman at Herington
    HERINGTON — The Teutons wrapped up the regular season by splitting with Herington Tuesday night.
     The boys won 52-30 while the girls fell 44-40.
    Alex Ropp led the boys with 13 points, while Josh Miller added 12 and Tyler Cottam added 10.
    Abby Ropp and Savanah Case both had 11 for the girls.
    Canton-Galva at Little River
    LITTLE RIVER — The Redskins earned a sweep of Canton-Galva Tuesday night, with the boys winning 48-31 and the girls 49-22.
    Dalton Konen led all scorers with 18 points. Chet Cordell added 11.
    Brian Little and Austin Bullinger led Canton-Galva with six points, each.
    Emily Baldwin led the Lady Redskins with 13 points, followed by Chloe Baldwin’s 12 and Samantha Zeller’s 10.
    Erika Smith was the lone Eagle in double figures with 10 points.
