  • Naomi June Stevens, 83, of McPherson, passed away on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, while in the company of family members, at McPherson Hospital in McPherson.

  • Naomi June Stevens, 83, of McPherson, passed away on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, while in the company of family members, at McPherson Hospital in McPherson.
    June was born on May 30, 1929, in Mulberry, a daughter of the late Lena (Massa) and Colonel D. Neil.
    She attended the Mulberry public schools.
    June worked as a road manager for a country western band.
    She was the widow of Red Stevens.
    June is survived by, a son, Rockie (Patricia) Jones, of Great Bend; a daughter Penny (Jerry) Northness, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son Neil Snyder, of Redvale, Colo.; a son Gordon Snyder, of Dallas; a sister Norma Tratos, of Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
    A memorial service in Mulberry and graveside committal services of cremated remains will be at a later date in Rosebank Cemetery, Mulberry.
