Due to the winter storm that hit south-central Kansas Monday night, the Moundridge sub-state girls games scheduled for tonight have been pushed back to Thursday.
The boys bracket will be played out as planned today.
All games will be played at Moundridge High School.
This afternoon’s games will begin at 3 p.m. with No. 1 Burden-Central taking on No. 8 Canton-Galva.
That will be followed by the 4-5 game between Oxford and Peabody-Burns, then No. 3 Berean Academy and No. 6 Herington at approximately 6 p.m.
Host Moundridge, the two seed, will take on Chase County at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday's games also begin at 3 p.m. with No. 3 Chase County and No. 6 Oxford.
That is followed by No. 2 Berean Academy and No. 7 Burden-Central.
The 4-5 game will be played at around 6 p.m. between Herington and Peabody-Burns, to be followed by No. 1 Moundridge and No. 8 Canton-Galva at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The semifinals will be held Friday, with the finals Saturday evening starting at 6 p.m.
The Class 2A state tournament will begin March 6 at Bramlage Coliseum on the campus of Kansas State University.
