  • The winter storm that plagued central and southern Kansas Monday and into early Tuesday morning caused some delays in the high school basketball sub-state tournaments.

  • The winter storm that plagued central and southern Kansas Monday and into early Tuesday morning caused some delays in the high school basketball sub-state tournaments.
    The McPherson High School/Smoky Valley boys game originally slated for Monday night at 7 p.m. has been rescheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Roundhouse.
    The MHS girls game against Chapman that was slated for 7 p.m. tonight has been pushed up to 6 p.m. to accomodate both the boys game and travel concerns for Chapman.
    The basketball teams, the KAY Club, the MHS Stuco and Stewart Sports will still be holding a fund raiser for Kaiden Schroeder tonight as part of the games.
    The Moundridge Class 2A boys sub-state opening round was postponed to Wednesday due to the weather.
    The girls games were still slated to go on as planned Tuesday as of press time.
