    McPherson police
    At 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, officers, EMS personnel and firefighters responded to a report of a minor injury accident that occured at Penn and Walnut. The accident involved Twila Smedley, 19, of Colorado, and William Kresa, 50, of McPherson. Smedley was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign. Both patients refused EMS services.
    At 1:37 p.m. Wednesday, an officer took a report of belated theft that occured in the 700 block of South Ash at an unknown time. Stolen was some furniture, with a total value of $3,000.
