  • The Central Christian College men’s and women’s tennis teams found themselves on the losing end of a sweep by the Bethel Threshers Thursday.

  • The Central Christian College men’s and women’s tennis teams found themselves on the losing end of a sweep by the Bethel Threshers Thursday.
    The men lost 7-2, while the women were shut out 9-0.
    In men’s singles,  Central’s Mark Gayer defeated Clinton Chlumsky 7-5 and 10-6.
    The Central men’s doubles team of Gunnar Kelley and David Armstrong picked up a win against the Threshers’ Chris Soosalv and Michael Herelle, taking the two sets 9-8 and 7-4.
    The Tiger men are back on the court Saturday morning, as they host Midland University beginning at 10 a.m. Both the men and the women will travel to Friends University Monday starting at 3 p.m.
