Kimberly Rena Purcell-Mace, 30, of Osawatomie, formerly of McPherson, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe.
Kim was born March 16, 1982, in McPherson. She was the eldest of two children of Steven Edward and Cindy Lou (Crispin) Purcell.
She attended school in the McPherson school system.
Kim enjoyed camping and fishing and liked spending time with family and friends.
Kim was married Nov. 1, 2010, to John Everett Mace. They became the parents of one son Dakota R. Purcell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband of McPherson, her two sons: Zachary Purcell, 14, and Dakota Purcell, 5, both of Osawatomie, her parents Steve and Cindy Purcell of Osawatomie, one sister Vanessa (John) Stewart of Osawatomie, half brother Christopher R. Evans and half sister Lindsey R. Evans both of Missouri, two nieces: Katrina Archuleta, Teela Scott and one nephew Bobby Stewart all of Osawatomie.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday March 15, 2013, at the Four Square Church 811 N. Ash, McPherson.
