  • Police seek suspects in gaming machine thefts

  • On Dec. 22, somebody entered two KAPS stores in McPherson and, while the clerk was distracted, removed cash from gaming machines. On Jan. 15, 2013, somebody broke into the Phillips 66 store in McPherson and removed a gaming machine containing an undisclosed amount of cash. It is unknown if these incidents are connected. Total loss and damage in these cases has been placed at more than $9,000.
