The Courtyard Gallery, 125 N. Main St., announced the upcoming art show by George Jerkovich titled "Celebrate the Smoky Valley." The exhibit will start on March 23 with an artist's reception from 5 to 7 p.m.
Jerkovich of Salina is a photographer working in large, panoramic format. His work captures the expansiveness and wonder of the Kansas landscape conveying a personal connectedness to this special place.

Jerkovich of Salina is a photographer working in large, panoramic format. His work captures the expansiveness and wonder of the Kansas landscape conveying a personal connectedness to this special place.


Jerkovich takes photographs with a digital camera and prints them himself with a state of the art ink jet printer using the latest technology with pigmented inks. His prints are rated lightfast for one 100 to 150 years.

The show will run through April 30, but his work is always on display and sold at the Courtyard Gallery.

Featuring Midwest artists, the Courtyard Gallery is open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.  There is no admission fee.
