At 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, an officer investigated a belated minor injury accident between a pedestrian and a vehicle that occurred in the 600 block of Oxford Drive. The accident involved Chelsi Oliver of McPherson, who drove the vehicle, and Mason Pearson of McPherson. Pearson was reportedly stepping out of Oliver’s vehicle at a private residence when the vehicle door hit him. Pearson was transported to McPherson Hospital by a personal vehicle.
At 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, deputies, firefighters, and Moundridge EMS personnel responded to a two-vehicle injury accident that occurred at Comanche Road and 22nd Avenue. The accident involved Camilla A. Ensz of Cimarron. and Elwood L. Koehn of Canton. Ensz reportedly ignored a stop sign at the intersection, colliding with Koehn. Koehn was transported to Mercy Hospital with injuries. The extent of those injuries are not known at this time. Ensz was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
