1. Why are you running for a position on local government?

To give back to the community that has been my home for the last 17 years.

2. What do you think the role of local government should be?

To provide infra structure for the local community, oversee operations of the various city departments and to be a good fiscal manager of city funds.

3. What would be your goals if elected to a position on city government?

To see the completion of several projects that are currently in operation and to find ways to improve or maintain the high quality of the current city council during my tenure.
4. What do you think is the greatest challenge facing your community at this time?  How would you address it?

Water Rights – The city needs to continue to look to the future and the need to obtain water rights to stabilize the community’s future needs.

Continue to seek water rights from local land owners and if that is not possible purchase land when it becomes available. The land could then be rented back to a farmer creating an income from the land while preserving the cities need for water.
