  • The churches of Lindsborg will host a Bible study weekend April 5 and 6 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 402 N. First St., Lindsborg.
    The weekend, titled “Living In Focus of Eternity” will feature Mark Schupbach, a 1971 Bethany College graduate. He founded CPF Texas, a financial consulting firm. He was in Bible Study Fellowship for 17 years, serving as the teaching leader for over 500 men for nine years. In 2003, he founded Next Step Bible Study Ministry. Earlier this year he founded LifeMark Ministries.
    In 2012, he was awarded the Roaring Lamb award along with Dallas Cowboy Roger Staubach for exemplifying “The spirit of encouraging, equipping, challenging and empowering Christians to share their faith.”
    Schupbach has been married to Marty for 43 years, with whom he has three daughters and five grandchildren.
    April 5 events will include:
    • Noon to 1 p.m. for career professionals regarding work issues (lunch provided)
    • 2 p.m.: women’s Bible study on worry issues (taught by Marty)
    • 7:15 p.m.: Life perspective
    • 8:30 p.m.: Prayer life
    April 6 events include:
    • 8 a.m.: Men’s Bible study regarding success issues
    • 9:30 a.m.: Life rules
    • 10:30 a.m.: Life direction
    • Noon to 1 p.m.: Church leaders (pastors and board members) regarding church growth (lunch provided)
