At 6:56 a.m. Friday, an officer took a report of theft from a vehicle that occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Thursday and 6:50 a.m. Friday, in the 600 block of South Walnut. Stolen was a semi-automatic Ruger pistol, valued at $500, and miscellaneous items, valued at $2.

At 7:54 a.m. Friday, an officer took a report of theft that occurred sometime between 11:00 p.m. Thursday and 7:45 a.m. Friday, in the 1100 block of North Wheeler. Stolen was a red Honda Civic, valued at $5,000. The vehicle was later recovered in the 1100 block of South Maple.

At 8:51 a.m. Friday, an officer took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 8:51 a.m. Friday, in the 2000 block of East Kansas Ave. Damaged was the rear window of a car, valued at $1,000.

At 10:19 a.m. Friday, an officer took a report of theft from a vehicle that occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday. Stolen was a purse, Oxycodone medication and miscellaneous items. Estimated losses are $1,452.

At 4:12 p.m. Friday, an officer arrested Keith Edward Howard, 52, on a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. A $1,000 bond was posted.
At 2:36 a.m. Sunday, officers arrested Juston James Kerns, 30, on a Pinellas County, Florida warrant for two counts of felony theft. Kerns was held pending a $5,500 bond.

At 4:58 a.m. Sunday, officers investigated an injury collision in the 1600 block of East Kansas. The accident involved George Ann Cavanaugh of McPherson and a pole. Cavanaugh reportedly went across the center median and hit a lane divider. The extent of injuries suffered is unknown at this time.
At 8:28 p.m. Saturday, deputies, EMS personnel, firefighters and Kansas Highway Patrol officers responded to an injury accident on Highway 56 and Limestone Road. The accident was a one-vehicle rollover accident, driven by Lyle L. Ledford of Marion, with Ginger M. Ledford as a passenger. KHP reports that Ledford was westbound on Highway 56 when he began to enter a north ditch. When Ledford tried to correct the vehicle, the vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the middle of Highway 56. Both passengers were transported to McPherson Hospital by EMS personnel. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
LINDSBORG —At 1:10 a.m. Sunday, officers and EMS personnel responded to a fight at the Ol’ Stuga, located at 119 South Main. Officers proceeded to arrest Bradley Charles Wagner, 20, of Hutchinson on charges of battery, minor in consumption, disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. Wagner was held pending a $1,250 bond. Charges are pending for the Ol’ Stuga for serving alcohol to a minor. The victim of the fight refused EMS services.
