  • McPherson College’s Brendan Miller has been named KCAC Player of the Week as announced by the KCAC.  
    Awards are voted upon by KCAC Sports Information Directors and are based on student-athlete performances during March 25 - April 1.
    Miller hit 0.526 and slugged 0.789 in six games this week for the Bulldogs.  
    During the second of two games against Manhattan Christian, Miller recorded four RBI’s off three hits as the Bulldogs won, 20-6.
    In a four-game series (two home, two away) against University of Saint Mary, Miller went 7-12 at the plate with three runs scored and six RBI’s.  
    Miller finished the week with 10 hits, five runs, 10 RBI’s, five walks, a home run, and a stolen base.
    The senior first-baseman led the Bulldogs to a 4-2 record on the week and their first ever series victory over a conference opponent.
    McPherson has now won nine games this season, the most in their short baseball history.
    Mac baseball is scheduled to host Ottawa University on this evening to start their next series. First pitch at Light Capital Diamonds is  scheduled for 5 p.m.
