  • The McPherson Middle School tennis team hosted Salina South, Hesston and Manhattan’s Anthony Middle School Monday, with the Bullpups dominating the competition.

  • The McPherson Middle School tennis team hosted Salina South, Hesston and Manhattan’s Anthony Middle School Monday, with the Bullpups dominating the competition.
    In No. 1 singles play, Ellea Ediger went 3-0 for first place. Andrew Snell also captured first with a 3-0 record at No. 2 singles.
    In doubles play, all three MMS teams took first place in their respective brackets.
    The duo of Nolan Schrader and Patrick Munsey went 2-1 to take first in No. 1 doubles. Emma Chandler and Rachel Ivers also took first, theirs coming in the No. 2 doubles with an undefeated 3-0 record.
    Maisie Edmondson and Hadley Hageman went 3-0 for first place in No. 3 doubles.
    The season is beginning to wind down for the Pups. They were slated to take on Lindsborg C Wednesday afternoon in McPherson. Results were unavailable at presstime.
