Both Smoky Valley baseball and softball came away victorious from their games Monday, with the Lady Vikings sweeping Hillsboro and the baseball team dominating Kingman.
Trevor Menke and Kevin Smith powered the Vikings (5-9) to the sweep of Kingman, winning 21-8 in game one and 16-3 in game two. Menke had a three-run home run in game one, while Smith had a two-run shot in game two.
Trevor Whittaker picked up the game one win, while Andy Osner was the winner of game two.
Eryn Stockman picked up 4-2 and 4-1 wins against Hillsboro for the Vikings (14-4, 13-3 CKL).
She racked up 23 strike outs between the two games. Not only that, but she had two home runs, two doubles, two RBI’s and two runs scored between the two games.
