At 11:54 p.m. Tuesday, deputies, firefighters and EMS personnel responded to a possible injury accident at Old Highway 81 and Eisenhower. EMS personnel and firefighters were disregarded prior to their arrival. Deputies arrested Melissa Sherwood Light-Branch, 44, of Colorado on charges of D.U.I., possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Light-Branch was held pending a $2,000 bond. Deputies also arrested passenger Joshua Sanders of Wellington on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sanders was held pending a $1,000 bond. The extent of any possible injuries is unknown at this time, and more details about the accident are unknown at this time.
